12. Checklist to be kept in mind at the time of oil change
- Use only recommended engine oil
- Check the packaging of the oil to make sure it is not spurious. If you are unsure, check the same with the manufacturer/dealer. Always make your purchases from recognized dealers/outlets.
- Change the engine oil at recommended intervals. Make a note of your last oil change.
- Change the oil filter at the time of engine oil change.
- Never drive your vehicle if the engine oil level is low or has run out of engine oil.
